Day 7 in my week of mono, Dad ran the coast guard festival (with OCP) today. Met him for breakfast and got a shot of his shoes. I hsve really enjoyed this week, seriously thinking about doing 2010 in Mono, it is not a fan favorite format but I do love looking at things that way….Taking the family to New York for 12 days starting tomorrow: Niagara falls, Adirondack, Catskill Mtns and NYC… should be a good trip. Needless to say I will be less present (if that is possible) than I have been recently… Will catch up when I get back. 206 with a kick..

Day 6 in my week of mono…. Actually, when I reduce it all to mono it take a lot of complexity out of the operation, color can be a great distraction for me. Texture, tone and light make things simpler I guess… 205 on the farm

This is day 2 of my remaining 164 days of shots of power wires… Well maybe not… But these starlings and sparrows show up here by the hundreds and take over our power wires. I watch them and shoot them every day and never use them… so today I can stop shooting them… To me this looks like they are judging the single bird, backs turned or facing him and one saved a spot.. or it might be just a bunch of birds on a wire. 201… done
